"HOW YOU CAN BUILD A SIX-FIGURE INCOME IN SFI!"
NEW SFI AFFILIATE TRAINING SERIES #4
"What in the World are Powerlines, and Why are they Important?"
Sometimes the simplest concepts are the most difficult to
grasp and that’s easily the case with the SFI Powerline.
Nobody has any problem understanding that an SFI Powerline
is a straight down line. That’s pretty self-evident and
self-explanatory. People are added to a Powerline at the
bottom, one right after another. What can be confusing in
the beginning is whose Powerline is whose, and where new
signups are going.
Every Affiliate in SFI has two Powerlines to think about.
First is their Parent Powerline, which is the Powerline each
each new affiliate was "born" into. That’s the line you
signed up into when you joined SFI and it’s where your
sponsor is and where you will go for support. It will
remain your Parent Powerline forever. The other Powerline
that we are concerned with is our own Personal Powerline.
Let’s talk about the Parent Powerline first and what it
means to you. Your Parent Powerline is your SPONSOR'S
Personal Powerline. This is where you, and everyone else
they sponsor, is placed. Since this powerline belongs to
your sponsor, they are your Powerline Team Leader (PTL) and
earn all the special bonuses that level brings them.
Your job is to also become a Powerline Team Leader just as
quickly as possible. You do that by starting your own
Personal Powerline. But you can't do that until you first
meet the qualifications.
Before you are allowed to start YOUR OWN Personal Powerline,
you must first "give" your Parent Powerline three (3) MIQ
affiliates. This will be more important to you when you
actually start YOUR Personal Powerline because every MIQ
Affiliate in YOUR Personal Powerline will also have to
"give" YOU three (3) before they can start their own
Personal Powerline. But let’s start with the three (3) MIQ
affiliates you have to "give" your Parent Powerline.
In order to qualify to be a Powerline Team Leader (PTL),
that is to start your own Personal Powerline in SFI, you
must first personally refer three (3) MIQ affiliates
into the SFI program.
Of course that takes affiliates and lots of them. Until you
get your three MIQ affiliates, all of your affiliates will
go into your Parent Powerline straight down at the bottom.
You won’t be the only one adding to your Parent Powerline,
so your Parent Powerline is going to grow by leaps and
bounds.
There will be many, many other affiliates in your Parent
Powerline who are, just like you, trying to get their three
(3) required MIQ affiliates to qualify for PTL. So you’ll
see your Parent Powerline growing by your efforts, by the
efforts of your Powerline Team Leader, and by the efforts of
other affiliates in your Parent Powerline. Everyone is
building the line straight down.
Your efforts in adding to your Parent Powerline will
actually put money back into your pocket as well as your
sponsors. As the personal enroller of the 3 required MIQ
affiliates, you still receive MOST of the bonuses. You earn
the 40% sales bonus AND the 40%/month bonus on their 10 SVP purchase. And you earn
matching bonuses on that person's future growth. But you
don't earn the PTL Gold Override Bonus, because you aren't the PTL of your
Parent Powerline. Your sponsor is.
Just as soon as you get your required three (3) MIQ upgrades
your own Personal Powerline will automatically start. That means
you stop flowing affiliates you sponsor into your Parent
Powerline and everyone you refer into SFI now goes into YOUR
Personal Powerline.
Before we move completely over to your Personal Powerline
let’s take a minute to look at what happens to the
affiliates you brought into SFI that were placed into your
Parent Powerline.
Those affiliates will always be yours. If/when they upgrade
to MIQ you will receive all the appropriate referral and
renewal commissions for them. However, those signups that
you referred into your Parent Powerline will never be in
your Personal Powerline. SFI never moves an Affiliate once
they are placed. So if you have particular people who
you want in your Personal Powerline you should wait until
you have referred your three (3) required MIQ upgrades and
then start your Personal Powerline with the people you have
in mind.
Likewise, if/when any of those Affiliates that you referred
into your Parent Powerline upgrade to MIQ and begin
working the program, your Parent Powerline PTL, and not you,
will get the PTL override commissions for their efforts. Again
that’s because those Affiliates are forever in your Parent
Powerline.
That may sound like you’re giving away a lot but let’s look
at it from the perspective of YOU being the PTL. Once you
get your three (3) required MIQ upgrades you’ll immediately
start your own Personal Powerline. Now everyone you refer
goes into your Personal Powerline, straight down at the
bottom.
What’s most important here is that EVERY affiliates in your
Personal Powerline must also "give" you three (3) MIQ
upgrades before they qualify for PTL and can start their own
Personal Powerline. So the growth you saw happening in your
Parent Powerline is going to happen in YOUR Personal
Powerline in time. And you’ll be receiving 10% (the PTL
Gold Override bonus) per MIQ affiliate for people you did nothing
to recruit. The work and cost to recruit were incurred by
someone else and yet you get the PTL Support Bonuses (see the Comp Plan for all the details about PTL
bonuses).
The general rule of thumb is to work your Parent Powerline
only long enough to get your three (3) required MIQ
upgrades. Then your own Personal Powerline will be started. The
time and effort it takes you to get your three (3) MIQ
upgrades in your Parent Powerline is designed to give you
the opportunity to prepare yourself to support your Personal
Powerline.
That’s it. You are born into your Parent Powerline and
you’ll work that line until you’ve placed three (3) MIQ
affiliates into it. Then you’ll start your own Personal
Powerline and that line you’ll work forever, building it
straight down to infinity.
When affiliates in your Personal Powerline start their own
Powerlines they’re called "offshoot" Powerlines. When your
Personal Powerline has 10 PTL's in it, you qualify for Group Leader (GL).
One Personal Powerline forever. Ready, set, go!
