A multi level marketing network is a group of people connected by a common system, goal, product or service. The business consists of those who work together with the same strategy in mind – to make money.
The people who sell the products or information are usually called distributors or consultants. The distributors get paid to sell the product and anyone they bring onboard gets paid to sell the product as well, becoming part of the original distributor’s downline.
Networking in the area of marketing is the same as it is for any other online business. It’s the pulse of the business world – and for the marketer who isn’t any good at networking, the battle to reach success will be tougher.
To succeed, any entrepreneur (young or old) must learn how to become a networking guru. Networking is key to multi level marketing survival. Even if you’re not any good at it, even if you’ve never done it before, you have to embrace it and try. Since you have to do it, you might as well invest time and learn how to be the best at it that you can be.
There are ways you can network and learn to stand out and be different from others in the same business. When you’re in a multi level marketing network, you can’t be one in a crowd of thousands.
From this point on, network marketing is who you are. At the end of a presentation or the end of a meeting, don’t turn it off. On the street, in the coffee shop, while getting your oil changed in your car – wherever you are, engage people in conversation and look for the chance to talk about what you do.
Don’t make it a sales pitch. No one likes those – especially if you’ve only just met the other person. Instead, work it into the conversation by first drawing the other person out with his or her own story. Become a good listener. People will go an extra mile for the ones who listen to them and are interested in what they’re saying.
A multi level marketing network will become what you make it. If you fill it with people you simply gave the five minute recruit speech to, how likely do you think they’re going to believe in you, the product or the business? Networking is a skill that takes time to develop, but don’t ignore it as a crucial part of your online persona.
